Communication and Class Representative Seminars 2018
On October 24, 2018, the Dominikus-Zimmermann-Gymnasium once again held its annual class representative seminar in Memhölz.
During this three-day meeting, important school-related topics and upcoming events were discussed, and students worked together to develop ideas for improvement.
After an evening of introductions and team-building activities, the second day focused on gathering and visualizing all identified issues and positive feedback on posters. The concerns were grouped into thematic categories such as “Restrooms,” “Cafeteria,” and “Upper School.” Each topic was then assigned to a working group for in-depth discussion and brainstorming.
On the third day, the students presented their ideas and concerns to members of the school administration and cafeteria management. These representatives responded openly and signaled their willingness to support proposed improvements.
This exchange of ideas gave us, as students, the opportunity to actively help shape everyday school life. We were also pleased to see that some of our past suggestions—such as the installation of a traffic mirror—had already been implemented.
