MISTI Exchange Program 2020

This year marked a small but meaningful anniversary at Marien-Gymnasium Kaufbeuren: for the fifth consecutive time, a student from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston/Cambridge visited the school to teach science classes. This special exchange is made possible by the generous support of the Frank Hirschvogel Foundation.

This year, we had the pleasure of welcoming George Denove, a student of Aeronautics and Astronautics at MIT. His teaching focused primarily on physics and chemistry, but he also joined biology and English classes in the upper school.
This exchange program, which has now become a valued tradition, continues to be an enriching experience for both our students and the visiting MIT participants.
