Music Week 2022
Under the motto “The Show Must Go On”, the orchestra week finally returned to Marktoberdorf from April 25–29, 2022, after a pandemic-related hiatus. Up to 80 students and teachers from the Realschulen in Kaufering, Schongau, and Landsberg as well as the vocational schools in Landsberg rehearsed for four days to prepare an entire concert program. The repertoire featured music from film classics such as Brother Bear, Jurassic Park, The Hunger Games, and The Polar Express.
The final concert, which could only be attended by a limited in-person audience, was streamed live from the concert hall on YouTube. Over 1,000 people watched the performance live that evening, and the video has since reached around 3,500 views:
