Presentation Skills Training 2017

Each year, all ninth-grade students at the Johann-Winklhofer-Realschule in Landsberg work for three weeks in teams of three or four on a project presentation that replaces one of their German class tests. Teams are free to choose their topic from a selection offered by their subject teachers. In the corresponding subject, students also receive an additional oral grade.

The highlight, however, was the Best-Of Project Presentation Evening, during which the seven best groups of the school year presented their results to a large audience.

Around 200 guests attended: ninth-grade students eager to see their classmates' projects one more time, many eighth-graders curious about what awaits them next year, and parents interested in seeing what their children had accomplished. Representatives of the 360 Kompetenzteam from Augsburg, who led the presentation training, also accepted the invitation and were impressed by the students' outcomes from the rhetoric seminar.

The costs for the presentation training were covered by the Frank Hirschvogel Foundation.
