Dr. Marc Hirschvogel
Marc Hirschvogel was born in 1985 in Schongau, the son of Dr. Manfred Hirschvogel – managing partner of the Hirschvogel Automotive Group until his sudden passing in 2010 – and Anne Marie Hirschvogel (née Kennedy). He is the majority shareholder of the company and also serves as a member of its advisory board.
Marc Hirschvogel studied Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), with a focus on numerical mechanics and materials science. His studies included a one-semester stay abroad at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. From 2012 to 2018, he worked as a research associate in the Department of Mechanics on High-Performance Computers at TUM, where he focused on computational modeling and simulation of the cardiovascular system. He completed his doctorate (Dr.-Ing.) at the end of 2018.
Since 2010, Dr. Marc Hirschvogel has been a member of the board of trustees of the Frank Hirschvogel Foundation, serving as its chair since 2013.
In his free time, he is a passionate scuba diver and also works as a certified diving instructor. In addition, he is an enthusiastic hobby producer of electronic music.
