The Frank Hirschvogel Stiftung focuses its activities on regions surrounding the locations of the Hirschvogel Group. As a result, the non-profit organisation is also active internationally at educational institutions. Abroad, graduates from the following schools and universities are recognised:

The Manfred Hirschvogel Award
Since 2013, the Frank Hirschvogel Stiftung has honoured outstanding doctoral theses from the previous year with the Manfred Hirschvogel Award. The prize is awarded annually at TU9 universities to doctoral candidates in mechanical engineering and economics.
Excellence Meets Innovation
The award recognises dissertations graded summa cum laude that also deliver innovative and forward-looking results for both practice and research.
In Memory of Dr. Manfred Hirschvogel
The award commemorates Dr. Manfred Hirschvogel, the visionary former managing family shareholder of the Hirschvogel Group. Under his leadership, the company became a globally successful supplier to the automotive industry.
More Than Just a Prize
In addition to a certificate and prize money, recipients receive a symbolic award in the form of a “Herzträger” – a meaningful emblem of the Hirschvogel corporate culture.
