Girls Discover Technology and Craftsmanship – with MUT-IG

Be brave and explore new paths

The MUT-IG project by the Frank Hirschvogel Foundation invites female pupils to gain hands-on experience in technical and craft professions – and to discover new interests and career opportunities along the way.

What can participants expect?
- 19 project days spread across the school year – during term time and holidays
- Five two-day work placements with regional companies and institutions
- Workshops, trade fair visits and exhibitions offering insights into the world of STEM careers
- Individual and needs-based guidance up to career choice – practical and personal

Promoting Education – Empowering Personal Growth
With the founding of the Frank Hirschvogel Foundation, the participating family shareholders made a strong commitment to the future. They anchored the promotion of education, science and research firmly in the foundation’s charter – as an expression of social responsibility and long-term engagement.
Since 2007, the foundation has supported innovative projects in school and vocational education as well as academic research. These initiatives create lasting impact – for young people, for the region and for a sustainable society.
