What funding opportunities does the foundation offer?
- For School Students: The Frank Hirschvogel Foundation supports school projects and honors students with the highest final grades. If a
project in the STEM field (e.g., stratospheric balloon, student lab, etc.) is being planned, if a class needs support in social or media skills (e.g., theater, skills training, etc.), or if funding is needed for a P-/W-seminar, a teacher can apply for support.
Please note: Funding is only granted to schools (or, where applicable, to school support associations) and for projects carried out by classes or groups. The Frank Hirschvogel Foundation does not provide individual student funding. - For University Students: Students at German universities can apply for the Deutschlandstipendium. At its partner universities, the Frank Hirschvogel Foundation also supports student project work. Applications must be submitted through the university. Projects must be part of a course module and carried out in a group.
Manfred Hirschvogel Award: Each year, the Frank Hirschvogel Foundation presents this award for the best doctoral dissertations at all TU9 universities. The recipients are nominated by internal university committees.
