MUT-IG

Project Description
The project offers students the opportunity to learn about technical and craft professions, as well as their requirements and career opportunities. This way, the girls can discover the advantages of these professions and find new interests. The project is set to begin at the start of the 2024/25 school year for the 8th grade students. The 19 project dates, which are spread throughout the school year, take place during school hours or during school vacations. After the school year, participants will be accompanied in a need-based scope until they choose a career.
During the project, the students participate in various 3-day internships with the project partners:
- Berufliche Schulen Landsberg (BSL)
- iwis in Landsberg am Lech
- Kreishandwerkerschaft Landsberg am Lech
- Hirschvogel Group in Denklingen
- HILTI in Kaufering
During this time, students learn about technical and craft professions and their requirements. Visits to trade fairs, workshops, and exhibitions support career orientation. After the school year ends, the Frank Hirschvogel Foundation provides support on an as-needed basis until the student chooses a career.
All costs incurred in the project execution are covered by the Frank Hirschvogel Foundation or the project partners. The Frank Hirschvogel Foundation is primarily responsible for organizing and coordinating the overall project. The foundation also provides accompanying persons and a transportation service for individual events and company visits.
Participating schools:
- Johann-Winklhofer-Realschule Landsberg am Lech
- Mittelschule Landsberg am Lech
- Montessorischule Kaufering
- Staatliche Realschule Kaufering
All participants who complete the entire project (core project) will receive a certificate of participation as recognition.
