Project Description

In 2017 and 2018, the Frank Hirschvogel Foundation supported a science show by the theater group “Physikanten & Co.” at several schools: Marien-Gymnasium, Realschule Kaufbeuren, Mittelschule Buchloe, as well as the Elisabeth, Ernst-Abbe, and Martin-Luther Gymnasiums at the Landestheater in Eisenach.

The show combined spectacular experiments, stunning effects, and smart comedy, all tailored specifically to school settings and performed by real physicists.
Highlights included a towering flame column, huge smoke vortex rings flying through the auditorium, and a laser beam transformed into an electric bass.
Thanks to the entertaining performance by Professor Dr. Liebermann and his charming, quick-witted assistant Mr. Rainer, over 4,300 students, teachers, and parents enjoyed an engaging and laughter-filled experience.
