Project Description

Many people know very little about which plants and flowers attract bees. Yet they are often regional varieties that everyone is familiar with. This knowledge makes it possible to actively support bees, which are becoming increasingly rare.

In an interdisciplinary art and biology project seminar, intensive scientific research was carried out by the students of a high school in Schongau (Welfen-Gymnasium).
Any gaps in knowledge were bridged and new insights were gained.

All students each created a poster containing the most important information from their research. They also took close-up nature shots of different flowers. The details revealed by these photos are often hidden to the naked eye.

A professional graphic designer compiled these images and texts to form an impressive poster. This was printed in the highest quality. An educational concept was developed by the students, so that this knowledge can be passed on to anyone interested (young and old) with the aid of posters, workshops and games within the framework of events (summer festival at the school, events at the local elementary school, etc.).
